Outfit of the day;
This outfit is definitely on the grungy side of my wardrobe but I still love it's simple, effortless look. I wore this outfit a few days ago when I went shopping and it was so comfy! I wore it with a thin pair of black tights as well but an outfit like this look gorgeous with bare legs too (it just wasn't warm enough). It's such a casual look and could be worn practically anywhere. The lace top gives it a girlish twist which contrasts with the grungy black doc martens. High waisted denim shorts are definitely in fashion right now and they look great with almost everything!
I hope I've inspired you a little with this outfit.
Collection 2000 lip products;
So I was shopping the other day and I made a quick stop into Superdrug to have a look for a new lipstick. I've been wanting a solid red lipstick for a while now but every time I buy one for some reason they come out pink on my lips. The look completely different to the actual colour of the product. I don't like to spend too much on any type of lip product as I tend to use it for about a month then get bored of it and I won't use it again. I was looking around at all the different makes and then I came across Collection 2000 or Collection as it is now and I saw they had a 3 for 2 offer on. I decided to mix it up a little and I got a lipstick, a lip stain and a lip pen all for around £8 which I thought was pretty good.
And lastly, this is my favourite of all three - the lip stain/pen. I absolutely love this. I got it in shade 3 called 'Flirt' which instantly made me like it even before I had tried it. It's a very pretty pinky colour and it's so easy to apply, it's just like colouring in your lips with a felt tip. The colour lasts for ages too with it being a stain so you don't have to re apply it very often. Not only that but the taste and smell is delicious. I love everything about this product and I will definitely be using it a lot in the next few weeks.
If you are in superdrug or boots or anywhere like that I suggest you go check these out, especially if it's still 3 for 2!
Let's start off with the lipstick. I got it in shade 1 which is called Queen of Hearts and it is a gorgeous red, exactly what I was looking for. You don't need to apply too much and the colour comes out really strong, a little goes a long way! It smells and tastes surprisingly nice. I hate the taste of most lipsticks. It's weird but they taste too 'Producty' if you know what I mean? Where as this one not so much. It does have an essence of 'producty' but it's bearable because of the almost fruity taste.
Next is the lip gloss. I got this in shade 4 called 'break dance' and it looked a very pretty coral colour. However when you do apply it it comes out almost clear with a tiny hint of colour. I still like it though because it's not too out there and it's very subtle. A lot of lip gloss's are very sticky and heavy I find, but this one isn't. It has a nice light texture and is very easy to apply. Again, the taste is actually quite nice, fairly similar to the lipstick.And lastly, this is my favourite of all three - the lip stain/pen. My Old Dutch Pancakes
It really is about the little things in life, and this little pancake restaurant is one of them. One of my friends took me there a few months ago for her birthday and it was amazing. It's in the center of London, literally a 2 minute walk from Holborn so it didn't take long to get there. They sell every kind of pancake you could think of whether it's sweet or savory so if you're a lover of pancakes you really need to check this place out.
I'd been told the pancakes there were pretty big but I didn't expect too much. As we were queuing up to be seated I looked around and was actually shocked at the size of them. The menu was huge but it wasn't difficult for me to decide when i saw they had a nutella one. One of my friends went for a chili con carne pancake which is crazy and not right if you ask me but she seemed to enjoy it.

| (Yeah the pancake doesn't look that big here because there's nothing to compare it to, but trust me when I say, it was pretty damn huge!) |
If you live near London I seriously suggest you go check this place out. It's a lovely atmosphere and the pancakes are delicious. The only disappointment was that there was too little nutella for such a big pancake, so next time I go I'll definitely be bringing my own pot ;)
